SLPD Offers Rape Aggression Defense in August

Sugar Land Police will sponsor Rape Aggression Defense (RAD), a personal safety and empowerment education program for women, during August.
"This is truly a program for women regardless of fitness level or physical restrictions," said RAD Texas State Director Jim Baylor. "At the conclusion of classroom training, students will be able to apply their skills in simulated confrontations with aggressors."
