Olivier @281/499-9757 or cherylolivier@IF-FB.org International Festival of Fort Bend announces Second Annual Multi-Cultural Celebration in Fort Bend October 4th, 2008 The International Festival of Fort Bend (IFFB) is pleased to announce our second annual multi-ethnic celebration, which will be held on October 04, 2008 from 11AM – 6PM at the state of the art Stafford Centre Performing Arts Theatre and Convention Center located at 10505 Cash Road, Stafford, Texas. Our celebration of cultural diversity in Fort Bend last year included hundreds of young participants and over 5,000 attendees. The high energy event featured a costume parade/International fashion show, which represented over 40 different cultures followed by various upbeat cultural performances presented by an array of talented artists plus businesses, food and arts & crafts booths as well as a children’s play area. Attendees will once again enjoy the unique experience of a celebration of the cultural diversity that resides in Fort Bend County. Each and every ethnic community is invited once again to participate and share their talents with other communities at this extravaganza of fun, food, music and dance. Community service hours and certificates will be distributed to volunteers and participants. Raffle prizes will be available at the event. IFFB is committed to bringing more ethnic groups on board and is building momentum with a growing number of sponsors, vendors, community partners, volunteers and cultural participants. IFFB urges talented people from our community to showcase their abilities on the large stage at the Stafford Centre. Interested parties can render service by serving on a committee or purchasing a booth. IFFB will again pursue sponsorships from the City of Stafford, City of Missouri City and Sugar Creek Baptist Church.
